Honestly, I have to ask: Are You Getting First Page Results Every Time You Post a New Blog, or Upload a New Video? Truthfully, owning an online business or operating a blog can be downright discouraging sometimes; especially, when it comes to getting more traffic to your site(s). 

Google performs about three billion search queries every single day. Google is very busy. Interestingly enough, Google sites in total, handle an estimated 88 billion queries a month, which is roughly two-thirds of the world’s total Internet traffic.

Because of the staggering amount of daily searches being performed, business owners, and webmasters alike, are scrambling to help capture a fair-share of their market; which means… getting Google first page results.  

Contrary to popular belief, getting your business website or blog to appear in the list of first page search results does not require you to pay for ad space, or even spend thousands of dollars promoting your business. The main concept that you need to realize when trying to achieve first page ranking, is that “long-term” first page results, truly take time and planning. 

Become a master of your time instead of its effect!

Please understand this…Earning more business or ad revenue through increased traffic will not happen overnight, regardless of how important you think your business is or that of your services and products. Truthfully, it takes time to help set up your website so that it is ready for visitors; and it will take even more time to optimize it and begin generating traffic from you first page results…depending on your first page positioning…in the top 4, or at the bottom.

Apart from simply not getting the amount of traffic you want from links, it can be very irritating to spend a great deal of time or money on a new blog post or advertisement, that ends up not getting you the exposure that your business/website needed. 

When it comes to blog posts, you can market them in the same way that you would a video or a webpage. The nice thing about blogs, is that by hosting it on the server of the blogging site, you generally have access to publicity tools that will automatically create links to your site and help you get more first page results in the searches. 

However, one of the largest issues with using a blog to further the sales of your company or business is that blogs are so plentiful in number. One estimate puts them as high as 126 million worldwide.

To play in the blogging big leagues, you must have breakthrough information or cutting-edge products to sell to your audience. Due to the current saturation of the market online, many different blogs can get overlooked, even those with legitimate content and products. Again…Content is KING!
