Factually speaking, every time you post a blog you increase your rankings. As you may or may not know, rankings rise and fall on every page, and not just on the first page! In other words, your positional rankings on any page are NEVER guaranteed (or so you are led to believe), as there are always going to be competitors trying to overtake you, or simply, new similar content that is also being ranked by Google accordingly!
On your blogs and posts, in order to maintain your first page rankings requires more than a posting here and there, or the odd pinging now and then; it takes both repetition and passion, otherwise, you have no business being in the blogging business, even if it’s not a business, you are still required (by the Google Algorithm) to produce something, in order to maintain or sustain your rankings!
How frequent or how periodic must your postings be to stay on that first page? As frequent as they need to be; especially, if you notice that your position suddenly dropped one or more places in the rankings. Currently, I manage a network of over one hundred blogs, and each one requires a scheduled 1-5 week patterned posting in order to maintain or improve my current rankings for that blog site.
To get Google first page results requires consistency; just like anything else worthwhile; it must also be predictable and pleasurable. Meaning, my new posts better be expectantly, readable and informative, and not just recycled trash! Google is looking for well written and relevant content that gets socially shared! That’s it! That’s your formula, for first page rankings.
With almost three years of blogging within this website alone, nearly ALL of my blog postings have made it to the first page for their respective keyword titles; surprisingly enough, almost 80% are still there, one-two-three years later! So for me, every time I have posted my blog I have personally and consistently increased my rankings; and nearly always, first page rankings!
I am also going to go on a limb here and make another rash statement that many so called ‘informed’ bloggers rally against, that of ‘guaranteeing’ Google first page results! Why just last night, Google Alerted me to this writer, “Pat DePuy is a writer and photojournalist from Western New York. He has a BA in Visual Arts and New Media from SUNY Fredonia, and has been an active photographer for over six years. He now works as an Inbound Marketing Consultant for Mainstreethost while pursuing photographic endeavors in his...”
He had just posted his article to the business2community website, creatively entitled, “What’s Wrong with Guaranteeing First Page Search Results?” He goes on to say, “So while some sites may only need a few quick fixes to rank first-page, others require significant opt renovations and months of gradual indexing to find their way to the top. This is exactly why making a grand claim for first page rankings in a one-size-fits-all mentality is both irresponsible and misleading.”
I left a comment, but it has not been posted as of yet. Over the years, and across countless websites and blogs, my rankings for first page results have been well documented, complete with screen captures and numerous educational YouTube videos; some of these, have even managed to rank on the first page search results in under a minute flat!
Patrick, I would like to challenge you to any kind of test, ranking test, to prove to you that my ranking skills and SEO know-how are in fact real and genuine. Honestly and responsibly, I am easily and effortlessly able to get GUARANTEED Google first page results!
